Sedimentation dynamics of soil particles in sylvopastoral half-moons on restored plateaus in the Ouallam department (Niger)

The present study was conducted on the Tondibiya and Satara plateaus, in Ouallam department (western Niger). objective is to sedimentation dynamics of soil particles deposited sylvopastoral half-moons different years (2014, 2016 2018). assessment done selected following a survey transects. It involved determination thickness sedimented horizon, measurement permeability by single ring infiltrometer granulometric analysis laboratory. results obtained showed that horizon varies according age 14.15, 17.33 19.37 cm 3, 5 7 year old respectively. Water infiltration optimised sedimentation. recorded 70 minutes be constant 7-year half-moon 40 3-year half-moon. shows their dominance sands (77.73%). These show effective improving physical parameters degraded ferruginous plateaus.
